For Emily Kinney

Recently one of your songs came out on the random mix and I realized something that I wanted to tell you. At the time I was in a good mood, but after a horrible experience in Harvest Moon that is no longer true, so I’m not inclined to make this sweet or special because that happiness of mine which makes such expressions possible was destroyed on purpose by someone hiding on the other side of a peaceful, single player video game intent on destroying any happiness of mine. That’s going to take time to come back, but you aren’t worth the effort anyway, so I guess it works out.

Anyway… I forget which one it was… the one where your friends say don’t go and you go anyway to the downtown guy.

Right, so you know how that downtown guy is a dandelion artist of passion and power with expressions of art? Whatever it may be, probably writing. This dude you like is I think the archetypical male that you are mistaking me as. We have in common the passion of creative arts, but what makes us different is the other kind of warrior that I also am at the same time. I am not just a dandelion artist city boy who is sensitive and powerful with passionate expression of creativity. I am also physically a warrior on the field of battle. That combination doesn’t come around very often, maybe you get one or two during a century, but hopefully more now that I’ve made it easier for future generations. What is unique about it is the fullness of both archetypical roles that I embody.

However… that dude is somewhat toxic because he does not understand the honor of a true warrior, not being one himself. So… you probably have some fun and then he becomes volatile and your put him out of his misery and move on since you pretty much get whatever you want, whenever you want, and never have a problem with needing to provide for yourself or securing survival.

That’s good that you’ve been their human condom so many times throughout your life and learned a little bit of their ways of thinking to be skilled in dealing with them. That will be useful to me as a punching bag of sorts because you will be somewhat more capable than others for me to entertain myself with. At the same time, you won’t have to worry about me being toxic or having the irredeemable flaws of the fakers— like the ones you sing about who play the part of a warrior/scholar but are not in fact true warriors.

Additionally, at some point around the time you wrote that song, you sinned and have yet to face it. You won’t be able to move on with your life, find happiness, or enjoy anything until you return to that sin, reconcile it as possible, and then continue your progress. That is why you have begun to stagnate and are lacking for creative inspiration. Sin does that to a person because of the weight of guilt that prevents your spirit from attaining the divine power necessary for creative arts.

So… I really want to tell you something mean just to relieve the anger that I feel after being cyberbullied through the most gentle, peaceful and relaxing game there probably is on the market, but… maybe instead someone will do violence to the one responsible for what happened.
