The treason that occurred when the former president incited an isurrection with a failed attempt to overthrow Democracy and establish his own dictatorship is a violation of the Masquerade.

Does that sound familiar?

Am I the only one left who cares about maintaining the appearances of civilization here!? Did you forget that there are immortal consequences that transcend all faction politics when a fool violates the Masquerade? They put all of us in danger, and the one thing we all are in certain agreement about is the importance of the Masquerade and punishing those who violate it.

That vile, betraying fool, regardless of his reasons, background, status in the world is insignificant compared to the Masquerade. It doesn’t matter what your feelings are, your investments, your contracts, your blood oaths— that traitor exposed all of us when he incited the insurrection and had his ghouls in the Senate ignore it as though it did not happen.

Whatever the blind, ignorant masses may be, I am not fooled by their betrayal, and I don’t need to have every connection in the World of Darkness to know that I am not the only one who saw what happened and how dangerous of a threat it is.

Whoever the fuck is the reigning Clan Ventrue Lord needs to invoke a formal bloodhunt, and bring the traitor to the court where he will receive his execution. There is no possible way that fool could have been the Lord Ventrue because none would ever make such a mistake knowing how catastrophic it would be to the entire World of Darkness, which is now in fact in grave danger.

Do you not yet know what they are doing to our private places? Our sanctuaries? Our havens? They need to be stopped, and whoever the fuck set Trump up to be the fool, must have known how devastating it would be to all of us, but failed to notice how they too would be destroyed— the imbeciles!

Cut off Trump’s head or you are going to lose the entire bloodline that spawned that vile subhuman leech. He is not worthy to walk in darkness, and none of you will have respect if you do not respect the only law that we all abide by, and an extremely simple one too! Do not reveal yourself as a creature of darkness to the mortals. If you fail to have discretion, you will suffer unforgiving punishment by all of us when we temporarily set aside blood feuds, rivalries, clan war, and all else to enforce the Masquerade.

You are already exposed! The question you need to ask yourself is this: does your life in darkness abide by the laws of the mortals as well as those of the immortal? If not, then you ought to be most insistent about putting the traitor to justice because you will have no protection when they upturn your life like they did mine; when they scour you for sin, and invent any excuses possible to give you the stake, the axe, and the fire.

Before the young vamplings misunderstand, there is the Masquerade, and the Masquerade. Immortals and mortals alike participate in the Masquerade for pleasure and enjoyment of all kinds, but do not make the mistake of forgetting that among the mortals at any time, there could be one like me, who evoke the old ways and old powers with a bloodline that rivals any other in power and antediluvian ancestry that is the spiritual substance of being of our progenitor and progeny. That inheritance only happens at death as the cause of death, and never the birth of a person.
